Your privacy matters to us

AdBeliv ("AdBeliv," "we," "us," or "our") operates adbeliv.com and provides an indoor digital advertising platform and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard personal information when you visit our website, create an account, submit or manage advertising content, use a dashboard, contact support, or otherwise interact with our services.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions. By using the services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

AdBeliv handles personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), where applicable.

Separate permissions: Creating an account or accepting this Privacy Policy does not automatically give AdBeliv permission to publish your logo, testimonial, identifiable photo, video, voice, or non-public campaign results in promotional materials. Where applicable, AdBeliv will request separate permission.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use AdBeliv, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and profile information — name, business name, venue name, email address, phone number, password hash, Google account identifier where Google Sign-In is used, verification status, account type, account status, language preference, and account-creation date.
  • Venue information — venue profile details, screen location, screen orientation, venue operating information, content preferences, approval settings, and applicable hosting-payment information.
  • Campaign and uploaded-content information — campaign names, uploaded images or videos, media type, selected venues, time slots, campaign dates, display duration, scheduled frequency, pricing details, approval status, rejection reasons, and campaign history.
  • Trusted-advertiser application information — business website or social-media page, business category, content description, application status, review history, and relevant compliance or payment-history information.
  • Performance and playback information — recorded plays, campaign status, venue-level activity, end dates, weekly-digest metrics, and other reporting information.
  • Support and communication information — contact-form submissions, email messages, dashboard support threads, conversation subjects, message content, timestamps, read status, and support replies.
  • Payment-related metadata — invoice number, payment status, payment-intent identifier, amount, currency, refund status, receipt link, and billing history. Payment-card details are generally processed by the payment provider rather than stored directly by AdBeliv.
  • Email-preference information — optional weekly-email subscription status, unsubscribe token, unsubscribe timestamp, and digest-send history.
  • Website and technical information — pages visited, session statistics, approximate geolocation, browser information, device information, referring URLs, IP-related information where processed by service providers, and cookies or local-storage preferences.

We do not intentionally collect government identification numbers, health information, or full payment-card numbers through the AdBeliv dashboard.

How we use information

We may use information for the following purposes:

  • create, verify, maintain, and secure user accounts;
  • provide advertiser, venue-owner, and administrative dashboard features;
  • process campaign submissions, approvals, rejections, auto approvals, payments, receipts, refunds, and credits;
  • schedule, display, monitor, and report campaign activity and play counts;
  • respond to support requests and maintain service records;
  • send essential communications relating to accounts, payments, approvals, campaign status, security, and support replies;
  • send optional weekly advertiser-performance emails where enabled;
  • improve website functionality, reliability, security, and customer experience;
  • analyze website usage and aggregate service trends;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and policy violations;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations.

AdBeliv does not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

Account authentication and Google Sign-In

Users may create an AdBeliv account using email credentials or, where available, Google Sign-In. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google may process authentication-related information under its own privacy practices, and AdBeliv may receive information needed to create or authenticate your account, such as your email address, name, and Google account identifier.

Passwords for password-based AdBeliv accounts are stored using a one-way cryptographic hash. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Payments and Stripe

AdBeliv may use Stripe or another payment provider to process payments. Payment-card details are generally entered into and processed by the payment provider rather than stored directly by AdBeliv.

AdBeliv may retain payment-related metadata needed to administer purchases, approvals, receipts, refunds, disputes, accounting, and customer support. This may include invoice numbers, payment status, payment-intent identifiers, amounts, currency, refund information, and receipt links.

Payment providers process information under their own privacy policies and terms.

Campaign content, approvals, and performance data

When advertisers submit campaigns, AdBeliv may store and process uploaded media, campaign details, selected venues, scheduling information, pricing information, approvals, rejection reasons, and playback data. Depending on the venue’s configuration, campaign submissions may be reviewed by AdBeliv, a venue owner, or both.

AdBeliv may use recorded plays, campaign dates, campaign status, venue details, and related metrics to provide dashboard reporting, receipts, customer service, weekly performance summaries, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

Dashboard analytics and play counts may be corrected or updated where technical issues or reporting discrepancies are identified.

Support messages and service communications

AdBeliv may store support messages and related records, including conversation subjects, sender accounts, message content, timestamps, read status, and thread status. We use this information to respond to requests, maintain service records, resolve disputes, and improve support operations.

We may send essential service communications about account verification, security, payments, approvals, rejections, campaign status, receipts, support replies, and material service changes.

Optional weekly performance emails

Advertisers may receive optional weekly campaign-performance emails where enabled. These messages may include approved campaigns, currently running ads, scheduled campaigns, pending reviews, play counts, performance highlights, top venues, top campaigns, and approaching end dates.

Advertisers can disable or re-enable these optional emails from the Profile page. Weekly emails may also include an unsubscribe link. Disabling optional weekly emails does not disable essential account, payment, approval, or support communications.

Testimonials, client features, and promotional content

With permission, AdBeliv may feature participating businesses, venues, and authorized representatives in promotional materials, including on the AdBeliv website, social-media accounts, presentations, printed materials, and sales materials.

Promotional content may include:

  • a business or venue name;
  • a business or venue logo;
  • an approved testimonial or review;
  • approved photographs or videos;
  • an authorized representative’s name, image, voice, or job title;
  • campaign examples;
  • screen-installation photographs; or
  • approved campaign-performance statistics, such as play counts or campaign results.

Creating an account, buying a campaign, or accepting this Privacy Policy does not automatically authorize promotional use of a client’s logo, testimonial, identifiable image, video, voice, or non-public campaign-performance information. Where applicable, AdBeliv will request separate permission.

If a testimonial or endorsement is provided in exchange for a benefit, such as a free trial, discount, payment, or promotional credit, AdBeliv may disclose that relationship where appropriate.

You may withdraw permission for future promotional use by contacting AdBeliv. Withdrawal may not require removal of materials that were lawfully published before the withdrawal where removal is not reasonably possible, such as printed materials already distributed.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Our website may use cookies, browser local storage, and analytics tools to operate the website, remember preferences, and understand website usage. This may include:

  • Preference storage — language selection and display-theme preferences;
  • Session-related technologies — technologies needed to operate account and dashboard features;
  • Analytics technologies — tools such as Google Analytics 4, where enabled, to understand traffic and usage patterns.

Google Analytics 4 may collect information through its default implementation, including the number of users, session statistics, approximate geolocation, and browser and device information. Browser settings may allow you to limit or disable certain cookies, although some site features may not work as intended.

Third-party service providers

AdBeliv may use service providers to operate and improve the platform. These providers may process information on our behalf or under their own terms and privacy policies. Depending on the features used, providers may include:

  • Stripe or other payment providers — payment processing, receipts, refunds, and disputes;
  • Google — Google Sign-In, Google Analytics, Google Maps, and Google Fonts where enabled;
  • Email providers such as Brevo — account, support, approval, receipt, and optional performance emails;
  • Hosting, infrastructure, and security providers — website, database, content hosting, and operational services.

Some service providers may process information in other jurisdictions. Information may therefore be subject to the laws of the jurisdictions where it is processed.

How we disclose information

AdBeliv may disclose information where reasonably necessary to operate the services, including:

  • to service providers that help us operate the platform;
  • to participating venue owners where needed to review or manage campaign placements;
  • to professional advisers such as accountants, legal advisers, or insurers where appropriate;
  • to comply with legal obligations, court orders, lawful requests, or regulatory requirements;
  • to investigate fraud, abuse, security issues, or violations of our terms;
  • in connection with a business transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not disclose personal information for unrelated promotional use without permission.

Data retention

AdBeliv retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information. For example, account records, campaign history, invoice metadata, approval records, support messages, trusted-advertiser applications, email-preference records, and unsubscribe records may be retained for different periods.

When information is no longer reasonably required, AdBeliv may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it as appropriate.

Safeguards

AdBeliv uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Safeguards may include HTTPS encryption, access controls, password hashing, restricted administrative access, server protections, and secure third-party payment processing.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information in our control.

  • withdraw permission for future promotional use of approved testimonials or marketing materials;
  • ask questions about our privacy practices or challenge our compliance.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law or where necessary for legitimate business records.

Children's privacy

AdBeliv services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate steps.

Changes to this policy

AdBeliv may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, practices, or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of the page identifies the current version.

Where required, we may provide additional notice or request renewed acknowledgement or consent.
